Tapioca is made from cassava starch. It is tasteless and does not cause allergies. It is an important ingredient of a gluten-free and low-protein diet. In the form of granules, it is used for making of puddings or so-called bubble tea (tea dessert).

Preparation: Soak in water and then cook until the pearls are soft and remain separate.
